Hoya graveolens geeft de voorkeur aan een goed verlichte plaats, maar je moet op je hoede zijn voor direct zonlicht vanwege het gevaar van bladverbranding. Verdroging van de grond moet worden vermeden, de grond moet altijd matig vochtig zijn.

The comparison between Hoya oblongacutifolia (syn. H. graveolens), the sample PW1010-01 which collected from Prajuabkirikhan province and H. sungwookii, they are quite really similar.for overall look especially the texture of their stems and leaves. For the leaf shapes they can be vary even among the same species. The interesting points are their petioles, H. sungwookii produces obviously more longer and thinner. Their corona are a bit different but only green on H. sungwookii. The corolla edges of H. sungwookii are more folded. Their fragrances are totally different H. sungwookii scent remind me to some Magnolia fragrance and very nice.
