Is het nu Hoya chunii of Hoya chuniana, nee deze heet nu Hoya pachyphylla
The name Hoya chuniana is only Christine M. Burton's comment in PS the Hoyan, i've seen other websites, Kew POWO and ipni, they've never changed the name H. chunii to H. chuniana. Also Torill Nyhuus' comment, she told me that Hoya chunii has never changed or corrected to another.

Hoya chuniana's natuurlijke habitat is het regenwoud van Papoea-Nieuw-Guinea. De soort werd oorspronkelijk gepubliceerd als Hoya chunii ter ere van de Duitse zoöloog en bioloog Mr. Carl Chun (1852-1914) die kwallen en inktvissen bestudeerde.
Aangezien de heer Chun niet de ontdekker van deze variëteit was, is het einde -ii in de titel niet van toepassing. De juiste naam van deze soort is Hoya chuniana, maar hier zijn de biologen het niet over eens.
Hoya chuniana geeft de voorkeur aan een hoge luchtvochtigheid en een heldere
locatie zonder direct zonlicht, in de zon worden de bladeren gemakkelijk verbrand door de zon.
