De juiste Hoya-naam (alweer)

Hoewel het voor sommige mensen niet uitmaakt hoe een plantje heet, 

of hoe de juiste schrijfwijze is, vind ik en (de meeste) anderen dit wel erg belangrijk.

Mooie stukje (van Christina)

 I see this over and over again in the different Hoya groups:

- Hoya chelsea

- Hoya krimson queen

- Hoya krimson princess

- Hoya rubra

- Hoya pink silver

- Hoya red button

Etc etc

There is no Hoya chelsea, no Hoya rubra etc.

They are Hoya carnosa and Hoya pubicalyx and their names are:

- Hoya carnosa 'Chelsea'

- Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Queen'

- Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Princess'

- Hoya carnosa 'Rubra'

- Hoya pubicalyx 'Pink Silver'

- Hoya pubicalyx 'Red Button'

Etc etc

These are only examples and there are many more than these. It IS important to remember that they are carnosa and pubicalyx.

Just a little note to remember when we talk about our sweet (and sometimes not so sweet) hoyas.
