Niemand weet de echte naam, is het een hybride of niet.

 Jasper en Christa Brink zijn Deense Hoya liefhebbers

Volgens Edyta is het een kloon van Hoya clandestina.

De echte naam is 'Jesper Brink'

Volgens Agnetha Wolgast Widell is dit het verhaal: 

I remember the old story of Christa Brink had her husband Jesper help her name the cuttings she was goin to sell, saying "please name these for me" and of cours he did... wit his own name Jesper Brink. And an untrained buyer started to sell cuttings of it here in Sweden - swearing she had bought the Hoya Jesper Blink!!! Such a sad story- most because the unknowing "retailer" refused to change the name - even when mrs Christa Brink told her  people are still laughing... pity the faulty name is still around

First att all I have to go back 20 year, so forgive me if I mayby not remember, it all, but i can tell you that it WAS a joke, made around a lot of other hoya foks. I turn to my housebond in fustration and said " tell me, the name off this hoya, I know he did not now, and the answer he gave me was Hoya sp. Jesper Brink, he know thart Hoya sp. offen was unnamet. I most have sold one cuttings, but I can assure your all, I did not sell under that name, and as Agnetha Wolgast Widell said, as soon as I hear the name H.sp. Jesper Brink I tog contact whit the lady, but she refuse to move the name, she did not belived me. I most say it is many year since I hear the name.
